Kris Nelson

As the newest member of the team, Kris brings his deep knowledge of the Vermont food, beverage and distribution business world, a lengthy history of connections and a unique perspective of the various nuances that comprise that network. With his knowledge of the Vermont business community, Kris is excited to lend his expertise to the commercial real estate community.

Originally hailing from Staten Island, NY, Kris spent his formative years in the hamlet of Armonk, NY, before attending James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA. Graduating with a degree in Cultural Anthropology, he eventually moved to the northeast and settled in the Green Mountains.

Kris has a deep rolodex from his business successes in Vermont. Through his work in the nonprofit world as a case manager with Spectrum Youth and Families, he began to establish his relationships around the city of Burlington. Kris worked at Vermont Wine Merchants as a sales representative which spurred his entrepreneurial spirit where he and two friends started the business, Citizen Cider. While still an owner of Citizen, Kris left the day-to-day of the business to flex his entrepreneurial skills yet again by collaborating with the team at Zero Gravity to create a new non-alcoholic beer brand, Rescue Club.

Kris looks forward to a being a positive force in the commercial real estate industry in Vermont.
